Survived by wife, a daughter Betty Boston of Tyler, a sister in Wichita Falls, a brother in Lubbock, and two grandchildren.

Funeral Plans for W S Tinney Held at Green Hill Church
At 2 p.m. Tuesday at Green Hill Baptist Church a funeral service for W S Tinney will be conducted by Rev Delbert Smith. Tinney died 11:55 a.m. Sunday at Cogdell Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He lived 41 years in Scurry County and was a retired trucking company employee. Burial will be at Snyder Cemetery under Bell Seale Funeral Home. He is survived by three sons Joe Tinney of Alabama Willie Tinney of Tennessee and Claude Tinney of Altus Okla a sister Mrs Maudie Arnold Snyder and eight grandchildren.
