Snyder man held on assault count and rape charge
A 19 year old Snyder man is jailed on a rape count involving a 14 year old girl. The complaint was filed by the girl's mother last Thursday. Jim Weathers, longtime county resident, was captured Sunday in Lubbock County and returned by the Scurry County Sheriff's Department. He waived bond and was placed in the county jail.
