Four persons watched helplessly last night as a 28 year old divorcee shot and killed herself in Electra. Justice of the Peace J R Carter returned an inquest verdict of death from a self inflicted bullet wound in the death of Mrs Dorothy Beaver. Carter said the woman telephoned her ex husband Harold Beaver of Vernon then was in the back seat with a rifle when he arrived. The landlady and another couple tried to intervene but she warned them to stand back before firing once.
