The Snyder Co Op Gin will relocate from Twenty fifth Street to a site south of Sweetwater city limits, with a move planned for two to three months. A new building and gunning equipment are on order. the lot at the current site will be offered for sale. The council approved drafting an ordinance to limit new gins and upgrade equipment for existing gins. Mayor Forest G Sears announced the move and timetable.

Car Licenses Sold To 1 879 Motorists As Deadline Approaches
The county tax assessor collector reports 1 879 passenger cars registered for 1951 since license plates went on sale February 1 with about 250 sets for trucks trailers and other vehicles issued. The office shipped 8 510 sets of plates and may need more. The last registration date without penalty is March 31 and officials urge motorists to avoid the rush.
