July 4th Plans Take Shape In Snyder
Plans for the Independence Day celebration sponsored by the Snyder Chamber of Commerce are advancing. Organizations were reminded to notify the Chamber by June 25 about confession booths. Booth sites in Towle Memorial Park will be assigned by lot with draws held before July 4. Volunteers sell $1 tickets to fund fireworks and expenses, with proceeds benefiting the Chamber. A large group from the Scurry County Boys Club led in ticket sales this morning as events and local merchants raffle prizes in Towle Memorial Park.
