Weevil Control Reaps A Payoff in Scurry County

A study presented to the Snyder Chamber of Commerce by the Scurry County ASCS shows the diapause boll weevil control program added about 2.198 million dollars to cotton production in Scurry County in 1976. The report records 59,653 acres planted and 58,315 harvested with 44,446 bales produced.
