Five Are Arrested Here In Shootout Altercation
A Snyder shootout in the 600 block of Thirtieth Street left Officer J L Cullar wounded and another officer beaten. Five men were arrested at the scene. two more surrendered Sunday morning. Cullar received a gunshot wound to the left arm and was moved to Abilene hospital, while Officer Lannie Lee sustained facial injuries. Police recovered weapons and continued investigations with aid from sheriffs and other officers.
