Shots Fired At Cincinnati Police in Millvale Disturbance

C124 Globe Master Crashes in Brazilian Jungles
A four engine C124 Globemaster with ten crew members from the Atlanta area crashed Sunday night in mountainous jungle 47 miles northwest of Recife Brazil. The aircraft, attached to a unit from Dobbins Air Force Base Georgia, was en route from Zanderij Surinam to Recife with freight. There are no survivors.

Commission dissolves after civil unrest inquiry

Joseph Weldon Mayes a 55 year old Roscoe resident and service station attendant was found dead at a Trent Abilene area station. He appeared to have died from both bludgeoning and a gunshot. About $300 was missing from the cash register. A crescent wrench in a sock lay nearby. Mayes was found by a truck driver at 6 am and died about three hours earlier.
