Gail Boy Drowns In Stock Tank
Robert Lee Killough fifteen year old son of Mr and Mrs Wayne Killough of Gail drowned in a stock tank half a mile south of Gail around 2 p m Wednesday. Sheriff Norman Sneed said he apparently stepped into deep water and could not swim. His sister and a cousin from California pulled him from the water but resuscitation failed. Funeral will be held 2 p m Saturday at the Gail Baptist Church with Rev Roy Haynes officiating. Burial in Gail Cemetery under Bell Seale Funeral Home direction. He is survived by his parents two brothers Wayne T Killough of Ira and Clifford Dean Killough of Hurst two sisters Mrs Fred McDonald of Selby and Maggie Jane Killough of the home. Born April 29 1953 in Jal New Mexico he belonged to Gail Baptist Church and the family has lived in Gail the last 12 years.
