Children Burned in House Fire Near China Grove
Two young Latin American children suffered burns when a house two miles north of China Grove burned to the ground late Monday. The fire destroyed a tractor and a 1954 Ford station wagon. The children were taken to a local hospital. witnesses warned burns could be serious. The father reportedly rescued them and the mother restrained him from re-entering to save a dog and $80. The dog died in the blaze.
