Production Due Soon From Cayanosa Field in Pecos County
Mobil Oil Co says first production from the Cayanosa Field will begin about Sept 1. A gas cycling plant 22 miles northwest of Fort Stockton has initial capacity of 35 million cubic feet per day and will yield 7 000 to 8 000 barrels of liquid daily from the Wolfcamp Reservoir. Gas cycling could add 50 million barrels of liquid over primary depletion. Plans include two more plants a gasoline plant and a treating facility to sweeten sour gas.
