Winters Rites In Abilene Tuesday

Funeral services for L. Craig Winters aged 68 of 2898 Ave M Snyder will be held at 10 AM Tuesday in Riker Warren Chapel Abilene. He died Saturday in Bakersfield while visiting. He lived in Snyder ten years operated a barber shop and was WWI veteran. He is survived by his wife five sisters and one brother.

Wilson Rites Set Tuesday

Funeral services for Jessie Allen Wilson Sr. 77 of Snyder will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Northside Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Dean officiating. Burial follows at Snyder Cemetery under Bell Funeral Home direction. Wilson born October 9, 1885 in Bowling Green Kentucky, was a retired farmer and died Sunday in Cogdell Memorial Hospital. He left a wife Maggie Leona Roberts Wilson, three daughters, one son, two brothers, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Four Indian Girls Die In Boat Accident At Winnipeg River

Four young Indian girls drowned when a boat overturned under the falls on the Winnipeg River near WhiteDog Ontario. The victims were the three McDonald children and the Paishk child. Mrs Paishk saved her 2-year-old son, while others were lost.

J F Wilson Dies Today at 80 in Texas

Jesse Franklin Wilson, 80, of Scurry County Texas, died unexpectedly at his home. He was a retired Snyder real estate dealer born January 20, 1883 in Tennessee. Survived by wife Agnes Dillardina Snyder, four daughters Rosa Blackwell Marie Harmunitt Viola Coldewey Bertie Wilson, three sons Albert Foggie Clifton, one sister Della Edmonson, and five grandchildren. Funeral services are pending with Bolger Funeral Home.
