Pat Moore notes rabbits thrive with fewer predators at Towle Park
In Towle Park Pavilion on July 4 Pat Moore observed rabbits multiplying this year due to thinning of coyotes and foxes. He noted cottontails are especially plentiful, sighting about 50 rabbits along a two mile stretch near his home. Eddie Byers, Snyder native now in San Antonio, has Navy duties as Electronic Radar Man third class and trained at Nuclear Power School. He is assigned to USS Hornet, part of Apollo 11 recovery plans, as moon landing nears.
