Shooting in Snyder Leaves One Wounded and Suspect At Large
In Snyder at about 8 30 p m Sunday Rosario Razo 419 Avenue B was driven to Cogdell Memorial Hospital with a gunshot wound to the chin. Police say an altercation on the parking lot at Freddie Rays Place led to a warrant for Camilo Jasso 49 Clairemont Route on attempted murder. Jasso remains at large as officers search. Bonds of 3000 were set for Julio Prieto and Raymundo Medrano both of whom are charged with attempted murder after a knifing and shooting Friday night. Medrano remains in hospital with multiple gunshot wounds Prieto was remanded to county jail. A .38 caliber slug reportedly passed through Razos chin and out the throat and he is described as in good condition. Clark commended sheriff s deputies for their efforts in the search.

County Tax Valuations Are Hiked
The Scurry County Commissioners Court, acting as board of tax equalization, approved a jump from 118 million to 128 million dollars in county valuations for the year.
