Snyder banks report mid year deposits totaling 42.499 million at June 30, up from 1971's 37.851 million and nearing the all time quarter high of 4.889 million. Loans stand at 18.793 million, above last year, with 19.044 million the year end record. West Texas State Bank and Snyder National Bank posted the listed figures.
Moses Gentry Braziel 67 died at 10 45 am Wednesday in Cogdell Memorial Hospital. A native of Winchester he had lived in Snyder since 1956. Survived by wife Lavada Parks seven children and many grandchildren. Funeral rites pending at Bell Seale Funeral Home.
