Four Triple Murders Across Four States Reported
Eleven people from four families and a visiting guest were killed in a 24 hour span across California Maine Massachusetts and Missouri. Two suspects were being held related to the four triple murders. Harold Estes 23 of East Holden identified as in law to Maine victims is held. A 15 year old faces arraignment in Massachusetts. A Sacramento slaying left a woman and her six year old son dead and a male visitor shot. In Missouri police pursue two youths after a candy store robbery death of a couple and daughter. A Maine man was arrested in Lumberton New Jersey.

Snyderite survivor back on job after 7200 volt blast
Noel Browning nearly died after a 7200‑volt industrial accident on March 18, 1975. He was hurled 30 feet, suffered severe skull and shoulder injuries, and required 18 surgeries plus a steel skull plate. Browning credits endurance and luck, saying he never gave up and that his mental attitude aided recovery. He had previously served in World War II and Korea and now returns to work, with his wife recalling the ambulance siren.
