Indicted in Son's Death in Georgia Family Tragedy
Mrs. Janie Lou Gibbs of Cordele is indicted for murder in the death of her son Roger Gibbs aged 19. She has been in Crisp County Jail since December 23 awaiting arraignment and trial date setting. The Gibbs family has seen multiple deaths: husband Charles Clayton Gibbs in 1966, son Melvin W. Gibbs in 1967, son Marvin R. Gibbs in 1967, and Roger Gibbs in October of last year whose infant son died three weeks earlier.
