House Postpones Final Action On Foreign Aid
Washington AP The House delayed final action on a 2.7 billion foreign aid bill to after the November elections. Chairman Morgan said a new president might want changes. The bill would extend the current program two years and curb aid to the Greek junta and West Pakistan unless Nixon requests resumption. It also urges cutting the US UN contribution from 36 to 25 percent. The Senate has yet to pass a 2.6 billion appropriation.
