The Texas Stadium Corp plans further development around the Dallas Cowboys site including three new 600 car drive in theaters run by McLendon Theaters and an upcoming stadium area auditorium for Cowboy Club meetings. Concessions at recent games set records with 110,574 soft drinks sold at the August match with Houston and 40,000 hot chocolates plus 16,244 coffees at the December game with Washington.

Snyder trustees extend Supt Hood contract and revise school calendar

Snyder High wins big with seven in All-State Choir
Snyder High School places seven students in the All-State Choir and names two alternates Paula Andress and Joel Lopez. Members include Sharon Floyd Marci McCormick Pam Smth Donnie Burk Kyle Rosson Terry Jones Johannas Eicke. Competition followed a point system based on music knowledge and tone quality with selections made after All-Area tryouts on Nov 4. The choir will perform Feb 9 10 in San Antonio with the Texas Tech Symphony Orchestra.
