DOTHAN Ala an 18 year old high school youth was arrested last night and will be charged with dynamiting a home where a woman and her five children slept. The solicitor said the youth William Ervin Jr admitted setting off the blast and that a companion is believed to have aided. Ervin said he wanted to frighten the Grant family so they would not testify in a carnal knowledge case involving 17 year old Kenneth Nowell. Conviction for dynamiting a dwelling carries 10 years to death. The blast followed a prior incident at Phenix City. Mrs Grant testified in parole investigations and accused former Parole Board member Glen Vinson of promising to help release her husband for pay. Vinson denied the charge.
