Total cost 170 525. Building on the northwest corner of Twenty seventh Street and Avenue. Construction starts within 30 days. 190 day total time. Completion move date around September first. Building includes drive in and walk up windows, after hours depository, basement with community room and storage, ground level offices and vault. Exterior brick veneer with pre cast panels and a paved parking area behind. Snyder S&L assets exceed 5.5 million. up 1.4 million in past year. The association is member of the Federal Home Loan Bank System and the Federal Savings and Loan Insurance Corporation.

A blaze swept a pipe shaft in the 102 story Empire State Building injuring no one. Fire crews evacuated floors 64 through 67 and blocked access to upper levels as flames raged in eight floors.
