U S District Judge John J Sirica ordered John W Dean III Jeb Stuart Magruder and Herbert W Kalmbach released from prison. They had pleaded guilty to Watergate related crimes and were serving various terms for conspiracy obstructing justice campaign law violations and selling an ambassadorship. The order gave no reasons for ending the sentences.
Western Texas College sets pre registration for Thursday and Friday from 8 30 a m to 4 p m in the Student Center and Administration building. Dean Dr Duane Hood notes counselors will prepare schedules and students should bring activity cards for validation. A 10 day mini session drew 54 enrollments in four classes. Classes begin January 15 with dorms opening January 13 and detailed registration by class.
