Ex Foreign Minister Molotov, branded a Stalinist by the latest party congress, is returning to his post as head of the Soviet delegation to the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna. The Foreign Office announced the move as diplomats questioned whether he faces expulsion or restoration in the party. Molotov left for Vienna by train after the announcement, with Austrian authorities noting no visa application but valid Vienna-issued visas possible.
Five cases were heard in County Court this morning. John Wilson pleaded guilty to three counts of illegal sale of intoxicating beverages and received nine days on each count to run concurrently. Ruth Gray pleaded guilty to theft and got thirty days. Eddie Blue pled nolo contendere to theft and was sentenced to thirty days. All cases involved shoplifting in Snyder stores.
