Victims include Howard Seidel stabbed in his car near Victoria, Lee Frederick whose body was found near Abilene after a drowning verdict, and James Young killed in a car crash on an icy curve near Quanah. Also reported were Burns in a rooming house fire in Orange and other fatalities ranging from auto accidents to self-inflicted gun or knife wounds.
