Mallard Petroleum waits on cement at total depth 6 850 feet in No 1 Conrad Canyon pool. Nearby Sun Oil No 1 John Perry plans a 4 500 foot Swastika wildcat in Southwest Fisher County near Roby. One Injured In Mishap In Dunn
Jimmy Townsend of Dunn was admitted to Root Memorial Hospital in Colorado City for treatment of injuries from a two car mishap Saturday night. Townsend drove a 1955 Chevrolet involved with a 1952 Mercury driven by Williford Sallee of Ballinger south of Dunn on the Colorado City Highway. Police said both cars were southbound and the accident occurred when the Chevrolet began to turn onto the China Grove road. Townsend’s injuries were not believed to be serious. Two passengers in each car were injured.
