Ira Youth Wounded in Accidental Rifle Incident
Gary Lee Vineyard a 17 year old from Ira remains in fair condition at Cogdell Memorial Hospital after surgery for a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Authorities say the injury occurred when he accidentally shot himself with a .22 caliber rifle while cleaning the weapon at his Ira home around 12 30 p m Friday.
