Three Inmates Escape Indiana Prison Via Rope and Lock Manipulation
Three inmates used a braided sheet rope to breach Indiana State Prison’s master lock system and remove a window pane, escaping from the 100 year old facility. One recent escapee from a nearby minimum security farm is charged in a double homicide of two women hosts. The trio named are Chuck Bailey 26 in for murder, Otho Hunt 27 and Anthony Paolello 22 awaiting trial on an unnamed charge. Spokesman John Shafer notes the escape is the first from inside the prison in about eight years and that the method involved exploiting the master system to unlock ten cells. Bailey requested placement in the special section to stay away from other inmates. Remaining prisoners in the unlocked unit stayed in their cells.

In Managua a gunmen-armed group seized the residence of a wealthy businessman during a socialite event and abducted diplomats, government officials, and industrialists as hostages.
