PUSAN Korea Dec 26 Police today said two South Koreans led Maj Gen William F Dean into Communist captivity in August 1950 for 5 apiece. Chief investigator Yoon Myung Woon said the two were arrested and freed on bail. Han Doo Kyoo 38 and Choe Chong Bong 22 admitted receiving 30 000 Won each from the Reds for helping capture the U S 24th Division Commander near Chinan about 35 miles south of Taejon. They claimed they turned the money over to an unidentified Red organization and had tried only to help Dean but were captured by Reds. Dean was reported missing after the fall of Taejon in July 1950.
