Two American Youths Sentenced by Reds in Leningrad

In a Soviet court in Leningrad, Buel Ray Wortham Jr. and Craddock M. Gilmour Jr. were found guilty of currency regulation violations. Wortham received three years in a restricted labor camp plus a three year term for theft, to run concurrently, and a car confiscation. Gilmour got three years plus confiscation of souvenirs and a 1000 ruble fine. The youths, arrested while attempting to leave for Finland after a one week visit, faced seven day appeal.
