Probers Seek Cause Of NYC Air Crash

Investigators in New York search for the error or malfunction that caused two planes to collide over the city. Hurt Youth Walks Two Miles For Aid

A Hernleigh youth walked nearly two miles with a fractured hip and broken limbs to summon help for a girl trapped in a wrecked car that plunged from a bridge on a dirt road 13 miles southwest of Snyder. Donald Paul, 17, shuffled in freezing weather, collapsed at a door, then led highway patrol and ambulances to the scene as Nelda Pevehouse, 16, was helped from the overturned vehicle. Both were hospitalized at Cogdell Memorial in stable condition as relatives criticized the bridge lacking rails and markers.

Fuel Oil Import Increase Authorized by Interior
