City awards water plant contracts totaling 208000
The city council awarded expansions to the water plant in a special meeting at 8 this morning. R. B. Gardener Construction Co of Amarillo won the general contract for a 4,000,000 gallon filtration plant and 1,000,000 gallon storage basin for 194,339. Fairbanks Morse Co will supply three pumps and Alliger & Sears Co two other pumps totaling 10,614. Bonds provide 300,000 for these pumps and construction.
