Fire damages building on Big Spring Highway
The House of Guns on the Big Spring Highway was heavily damaged by a fire that started around 8 p m Saturday. The fire gutted the attic area and caused extensive damage to the entire structure as firefighters battled the blaze for over an hour. The cause was not immediately determined.
Two Hospitalized After Collisions In Snyder
Two people injured in separate two vehicle crashes near Snyder. Victor Oquist, 69, of Lubbock Highway, sustained skull fractures and serious injuries when his pickup collided with James Ray’s vehicle on the Lubbock Highway. Oquist was hospitalized at Cogdell Memorial. In a second crash at Avenue B and Thirty sixth Street, Sally Blythe was hospitalized with non serious injuries after a collision with Bailey Johnson.
