Jury Finds John Ford Guilty But Judge Declares Mistrial
John K. Ford a Snyder lawyer was found guilty of barratry and fined $500 by a six man county court jury yesterday but the proceedings ended in a mistrial. The jury lacked the written charge when they began deliberations and a carbon copy later prompted a brief retrial. Evidence showed Kenney signed a contract with Ford at Snyder Hospital while medicated and unaware of Ford's attorney status.

Six Killed in Navy Plane Crash Near Pensacola
A Navy plane crashed beside the scenic highway near Escambia Bay in Pensacola on Monday night. Six servicemen were killed after the craft, en route from Miami to Corry Field, dove into a residence area and burst into flames. They purchased the business from Joe Love of Snyder October 7 and formed the corporation with Fife as president and Nichols as vice president. John Fuller is general manager.
