James F. Neill Dies at 63 in Cogdell Hospital
James F. Neill 63 died Wednesday evening in Cogdell Memorial Hospital. Funeral arrangements were pending at Bell Seale Funeral Home. A Denver native and Scurry County resident since 1970, he was a World War II veteran and retired Texaco employee. He married Sara Lee Morton in Abernathy on July 30, 1937, and survives are his wife, a son James F Neill Jr. of Denver, a sister Mrs. Fred Flattery of Denver, and two grandchildren.

Trapped Britons Okay in Atlantic Submarine
Two Britons trapped for 24 hours in the 20 foot Pisces III midget submarine 1350 feet beneath the Atlantic sent a morale boosting message to their wives.
