Girl Revived After Ditch Rescue in Boulder
A two year old girl was carried 903 feet in an irrigation ditch and 93 feet through underground pipe before a neighbor pulled her from the water unconscious. Firemen initially could not detect breathing or pulse but after about half an hour she revived and was hospitalized in fair condition. Katherine Elizabeth Bowton, daughter of Mrs. Donald Turner, was credited with aiding the resuscitation.
