About 100 people joined the morning field day sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce agriculture committee. Attendees toured Patterson and Stipes farms west of Snyder and Ezell-Key Grain Co east of town seeing soil building, fertilization, insect control, interplanting cowpeas with grain sorghum, and planned cotton plantings. Afternoon tours planned Holman Odom Ranch beef cattle and pastures, Weldon Perry grasses, Eicke weed control, and Hunswurcher perennial grasses and sorghum varieties.
