Tornado Flattens Part of Decatur College Campus
A small tornado struck Decatur Baptist College in North Texas Tuesday night causing no injuries. The storm tore a dairy barn roof and tossed debris into a women’s dormitory while power flickered off for about 20 minutes. Rainfall totals hovered around a quarter inch with high temperatures ranging from 105 at Seymour to 88 at Beaumont and Galveston.

Rites Set For Luther Palmer
Last rites for Luther Y. Palmer will be held at 3 30 p m tomorrow at the Twenty fifth Church of Christ with Ted Norton officiating. Palmer was killed by a shotgun blast Tuesday morning. LaMarca Indicted On Kidnap and Murder
Angelo J. LaMarca, 31, was indicted by a Nassau County grand jury on kidnapping and felony murder in the abduction and death of 4 week old Peter Weinberger from a Westbury carriage.
