The Civil Aeronautics Board sanctioned a plan letting two or more people travel anywhere on Eastern Airlines routes for 299 dollars per ticket. The Scurry County Producers Association pushes to enroll more cotton growers for a boll weevil spraying program spanning about 120000 acres across Scurry, Fisher, Mitchell and Borden Counties. Bids for chemicals open Friday, and participation below about 40000 more acres may scrap the plan. The 1976 crop benefited from last fall’s program which reduced boll weevils and boosted yield.
Priscilla Davis testified she used up to 100 Percodan tablets weekly since 1973 and increased use after 1976 shootings at her Fort Worth mansion.
