Houston officers sought a second suspect in the abduction of paralytic 13 year old Margaret Louise Allison. A 45 year old butcher held then released after the victim failed to identify him. The girl was found in a roadside ditch 12 hours after the kidnapping.

Truman Seeks Expanded Controls and Kills Capehart Amendment

The county court completed official canvassing of Saturday’s dual bond votes. Park bond failed 794 to 656, and courthouse annex bond failed 813 to 646. Hostess Kayoed In Thunderstorm Landing
