Woman Receives Kidney from Son in Texas Transplant
A 48 year old Dallas woman, Mrs Leighton R Glass, remained in critical condition after a lengthy five hour 45 minute operation at Parkland Hospital. She received a kidney from her 22 year old son John Glass due to complete kidney failure caused by hepatitis. Doctors said she passed the initial critical period and was in normal post operative condition as she faced further assessment of acceptance.
