Fatal Accident Claims Snyder Man at Oil Lease Site
Buddy Richard Jones a 21 year old Snyder man died last afternoon from injuries suffered in a crash on the Slaughter Ranch oil lease in south Garza County. He was driving a McWood Corp truck leased to Motor Fuel Carriers Inc of Snyder when he failed to negotiate a curve hitting a rock ledge and was crushed. Jones lived at 3000 Avenue J and was married with two children. Funeral services were set for 10 a m tomorrow at Union Baptist Church with Bell Funeral Home directing.
