Six people from Los Angeles California were injured when a westbound car left U S Highway 180 about 12 miles west of here, overturned on a steep embankment, and was demolished. Victims were Billy Manning George Williams Ronnie Williams Gregory Williams and their spouses. Bolger ambulances transported the Mannings and Ronnie Williams to Cogdell Memorial Hospital. others arrived by private car. State Highway Patrol investigated the crash and noted items scattered along the road.
