Man Injured In Collision Near Ira
One man injured in a two vehicle crash about 2:45 a.m. Sunday four miles south of Ira on State Highway 350. Allen Vansickle, 30, of Snyder Cou nts, driving a 1950 Buick, collided with a house trailer towed by a 1955 Pontiac driven by Doyal Holder, 33, Odessa. Vansickle suffered three arm fractures and cuts and was taken to Cogdell Memorial Hospital by Bell ambulance. Kinser said Vansickle was on the wrong side of the road and struck the trailer, ending about three-fourths of a mile from impact on a country road. Passenger J. W. Puckett, 46, was not injured. Estimated damage: $350 to the car and $700-$800 to the trailer.
