Five City Awards At Barbecue In Towle Park Barn
About 200 city employees and families attended the annual awards barbecue at Towle Park barn Tuesday night. Mayor M L Broman presented five service pins. Ed Shuler received a 15 year pin. Richard Reynolds Santos Contreras and Doug Burney earned 10 year pins. Chester Simons and D D Tullis won 5 year pins. Master of Ceremonies was Chief Simons in City Manager George Patterson’s absence due to a death in the family. Fire Chief Alfred Kohl presided over the games. Families supplied covered dishes and dessert.
