Five Snyder men in two-vehicle crash sequence

Pre registration for Snyder High and two junior high schools is announced. New students moving to Snyder this summer and others who did not register last spring must register August 15. High school hours are 8 to 4. Existing registrants may change schedules on August 16 17 or 18. Junior highs register August 17 from 9 to 4. First day of school is September 1 with full schedules. If unable to register or change dates, call the schools to arrange pre registration before opening day.

Abilene Man Dies In Plane Crash
Abilene resident F. D. Price perished in a plane crash near Tye eight miles west of Abilene. Police said the overdue flight from Austin to Abilene was Monday night. Price, an experienced pilot, worked for Boles and Grimes Oil Co. of Abilene.
