Midwest Electric Cooperative held its annual meeting at the Roby Fair Grounds with over 3,500 attendees from 781 member families. Three directors were re-elected: Ted Merchant Sweetwater Dwight Nowlin Rotan and H H Cary Ira. A barbecue supper followed and Dr Charles W Jarvis spoke. The capital credit refund program has returned 76927360 since 1858 with 203400 to be mailed in December.

Ground test of Saturn V booster shows first stage performance
