Scurry County commissioners set Monday May 8 as the election date to decide legalizing off premises sale of alcohol in Snyder city limits. The Scurry County Industrial Foundation with the Board of Development and Gold Coat launches a drive this week to raise 25000 to 30000 for a speculative building on an East 37th Street city lot in an industrial park. Over 5000 has been pledged from 618 letters. about 100000 more is needed, with lending institutions expected to provide the remainder.
