Reliance won 26 to 6 against the Pinedale Wranglers in a lone 11 against 1 game. The visitors played smoothly as a unit, while Pinedale showed uncertain team play after a season of varied formats. Coach Capellen used 16 players, but a late touchdown by Pinedale was wiped out by a slipping penalty.
Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thomson of Cora and their son Ray left for Williams Lake B C Canada last week. Williams Lake lies on the west slope of the mountains on a new road between Vancouver and the Yukon. The Thomsons have shown interest in Williams Lake for a year or two and are expected back next month.
The Pinedale skyline gains a new 55 ft tower to mount the Volunteer Fire Dept siren. The structure is a gift from Bob Luman and enhances warning reach for the town.
