Flower Day at CL Ranch shaped Sublette County history
In Sublette County Wyoming the CL Ranch or Rustic Lodge hosted the annual Flower Day from 1910, a community open house with clipped grounds and azaleas to benefit building a local church and hall. Mrs. Clark fostered the gardens from 1902 onward, creating a famed landscape that drew visitors from Rock Springs by car, with elk antler fences and a water ditch slowly supplying the expanding grounds.
