Fourth of July Dance at the Alexanders' at New Fork Lake
At the Alexanders ranch near New Fork Lake the Fourth of July celebration drew families in festive dress to a dance in the big dining room. Musicians Buck Elmore and Banjo Frank led lively quadrilles while guests, including Mildred and May, enjoyed food, stories, and a surprise fireworks box sparked by Uncle Jess. The party ended with a spectacular display as rockets and crackers filled the night air.
